Buyer FAQ

Clear answers before your smart pet product order.

A practical starting point for brands, importers and product teams sourcing automatic cat litter boxes, pet fountains and connected pet cameras for US and European markets.

Products & applications

What smart pet products does EIVYO manufacture?+
EIVYO focuses on smart pet hardware for international brands and importers, including automatic cat litter boxes, constant-temperature pet fountains and connected pet cameras. Product availability, configuration and customization are confirmed against the buyer’s project brief rather than assumed from a standard catalogue.
Can I request a product catalogue and samples?+
Yes. Send your product category, target market, required functions, estimated quantity and delivery timing through the inquiry form or by email at info@eivyo.com. The team can then recommend the most relevant product information and sample path for review.
Can the products be adapted for different markets?+
Market preparation may include power configuration, plug and adapter selection, language, labels, packaging, accessories, app or firmware requirements and documentation. The exact scope should be agreed before sampling because each change can affect testing, cost, lead time or production control.

OEM, ODM & private label

What is the difference between EIVYO OEM, ODM and private-label work?+
Private label usually starts from an existing platform with brand-facing changes. ODM work adapts an existing product or platform to a defined set of requirements. OEM work is more suitable when the buyer needs deeper control over industrial design, tooling, electronics, firmware, accessories or product architecture. The right model depends on your launch objective, investment, timeline and required differentiation.
What can a brand customize?+
Common customization areas include logo treatment, product color, packaging, labels, manuals, accessories and selected industrial-design details. Deeper changes may include tooling, electrical architecture, firmware, app behavior or cloud functions. EIVYO recommends separating cosmetic, configuration and engineering changes in the RFQ so the quote and sample plan remain clear.
What information should I include in an RFQ?+
Include the product category, target countries, intended use, must-have functions, power requirements, packaging expectations, target quantity, forecast, sample needs, required documents, delivery destination and desired launch window. A clear acceptance checklist helps suppliers quote the same scope and reduces avoidable revisions.

Samples, quality & production

How does the sample approval process work?+
A practical process moves from requirements and an initial sample to functional review, design or engineering validation, production-intent confirmation and a signed golden sample. The exact gates depend on the product. Approval should cover function, appearance, accessories, packaging, instructions and any market-specific configuration that will be checked at shipment.
How does EIVYO manage quality control?+
Quality planning should connect the approved specification to incoming materials, assembly controls, functional tests, visual inspection, packaging checks and shipment release. For a buyer project, the final inspection scope should be agreed in writing, including sampling level, critical defects, required records and the response to a failed lot.
Can I request pre-shipment inspection?+
Pre-shipment inspection can be included in the project plan. Typical checks cover product identity, operation, accessories, labels, carton configuration, manuals, appearance and lot traceability. The final checklist should match the approved golden sample and the buyer’s destination-market requirements.
What is the MOQ?+
MOQ depends on the product platform, customization depth, packaging, components, tooling and production plan. Sample evaluation and a standard platform may have different commercial conditions from a fully customized programme. Share your expected first order and forecast so EIVYO can review the appropriate route instead of quoting an unsuitable generic quantity.

Export preparation & next steps

What compliance documents may be needed for the US or EU?+
The required evidence depends on the final product configuration, destination, radio functions, power system, materials and claims. Buyers may need a coordinated document set covering product identification, test reports, declarations, labels, manuals, traceability and market-specific responsibilities. EIVYO can review the requested market and configuration, but buyers should confirm final legal obligations with their importer, compliance adviser or relevant authority.
How should we prepare installation and user instructions?+
Prepare instructions around the actual retail configuration: carton contents, power or network prerequisites, placement clearances, first-use steps, cleaning, maintenance, reset or recovery actions and support contact routes. Test the instructions with someone who was not involved in development before approving the final manual.
How do I start an OEM or ODM project with EIVYO?+
Send your requirements through the EIVYO inquiry form or email info@eivyo.com. Include the product category, target market, estimated quantity, customization needs, sample expectations and launch timing. EIVYO will use that information to frame the next technical and commercial discussion.
